  • Aetna Foundation awards $25,000 grant – The Charlotte AHEC Interdisciplinary/Cultural and Language Diversity Education Department would like to thank the Aetna Foundation for awarding a $25,000 grant in support of the Bicultural/Bilingual Training for Health Care Professionals proposal. The overall program will promote increased Spanish language functional fluency and related cultural competency among healthcare professionals in the eight county Charlotte AHEC region.
