Joan L. Settlemyer, PharmD

  • Dr. Settlemyer received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed an ASHP accredited residency in Critical Care from the Medical University of South Carolina. She has experience as a Pharmacy Clinical Specialist in both surgical and medical intensive care. Currently, her clinical practice is with the Trauma Service at Carolinas Medical Center.
Michael J. Gabriel, PharmD

  • Dr. Gabriel received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from Ohio State University. Prior to coming to the Charlotte AHEC, he worked at Duke University Medical Center as a Clinical Pharmacist and Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator for the Internal Medicine/Nephrology team. Currently, his clinical practice is with the Internal Medicine Service at Carolinas Medical Center.
